A second-hand Supra can be bought for as little as $3000 only if you look hard enough. But this one is not your ordinary Supra and was sold at an auction for $200.000.
This Supra was driven by Paul Walker back in 2001 blockbuster movie Fast and Furious. The car kicked off the franchise!
This Supra was one of 58 stunt cars built by the man himself Eddie Paul and it was the Supra that jumped over a railroad crossing while racing with Vin Diesel’s Charger. Because it’s a stunt car, this Supra gets all the good stuff like a roll cage, heavy duty suspension, strengthen fuel tank, huge rear wing, alloys, graphics etc.
Sooo… with that price tag, rivaling Audi R8 or McLaren 540C you have to ask yourself what’s under the hood of this monster? I hate to disappoint you but what’s under the hood is not fast nor furious. It’s a 220bhp non turbo version of Toyotas classic straight –six.
So, is $200.000 too much for this heavily modified but not so fast Supra or does the fact that appears in a movie and was driven by our hero Paul Walker make it a bargain? What do you think?
